I have a 12ft alum. fishing boat that I want to wire for navigation lights, trolling motor, fish finder, and a couple of acc. outlets. I am putting the battery in the front of the boat. What wire size should I use to power a “panel” at the back of the boat for these things? The motor for the boat is not electric start.
The trolling motor and motor without electric start are 2 different motors.

I am 14 and my mom cannot physically operate the motor due to arm pain. I wanted to operate it but I don’t know if I need a license/coarse, and if I do how fast can I get one because I am leaving tomorrow.

I’m replacing the transom on a 14′ aluminum boat. I don’t know what the original thickness of the transom was. This year, it’ll just hold a trolling motor for small creeks. I hope to buy a used 3.5 or 5 HP gas outboard next spring for larger boies of water. Will 1/2″ treated plywood hold a small gas outboard, or should I think about installing something thicker- I don’t want to have to do this again in 9 mos. Thank you!
