We have a gas motor but would like to take it to a local lake that you can only have electric motors at. We would not be taking it in a river and the only reason we need one is for this particular lake. I found a 28lb thust motor that I like but I didn’t know if that would be enough power to put around a lake. If it makes a difference it would be a transom mount.
