a drinkin and driving question?

Is it illegal in the state of wisconsin to operate a boat while drinking, with only a trolling motor on it?

    Yes, it’s illegal.

    A boat is a motorized vehicle/craft. You cannot operate a motor vehicle while under the influence.

    It’s called BWI…(boating while intoxicated, the act of operating a motorized craft that carries a person over water.)

    It is. Wisconsin actually has laws that address boating under the influence.
